Mechanical Engineer, Design Enthusiast, People Person
Adam Liang
I am a junior at The University of Pennsylvania studying Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics with minors in Engineering Entrepreneurship and Math. I am very interested in the design, build-out, and business operations of beautiful and functional products, whether physical or digital. I have experience with finance technology product management at Quicken Loans, design and fabrication on autonomous drones at the Pennovation Center with the Penn Modular Robotics Lab, and virtualization of machining software and rapid prototyping with the Delta Air Lines Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility at Georgia Tech.
My current internship is a business development and strategy position at a pre-seed startup that is democratizing the furniture design and fabrication process with GAN AI.

Outside of my career ambitions, I enjoy giving campus tours and representing Penn Admissions, planning and hosting enrichment events for mechanical engineers, backpacking and hiking, listening to film scores, traveling, and long-distance running.
I AM AN ADVENTURER
Wherever I go, whomever I work with, whichever organization I am part of, I am always curious, engaged, and driven. I am motivated by change and amplified by tangible results. I seek to disrupt the status quo whether it be changing the way families use copper materials to combat a pandemic, implementing business logic that saves a large financial services company over $10M in process improvement, or leading a team of Artificial Intelligence engineers to create technology that will transform the furniture industry.
